AFTER PRINTING

From the sheet to your containers, without complicating the kitchen.

Use regular A4 paper, print at actual size and attach the labels with the material that works for your containers.

1

Print at actual size

Keep the scale at 100% in the print window. To keep a copy, choose the option to save as PDF.

2

Cut and attach

Cut along the dotted lines. Use tape or adhesive labels suitable for the container and storage humidity.

3

Review when useful

The “Review on” date is a reminder to check the food again. Always consider preparation, temperature and official guidance.

“Review on” helps you remember. It does not say whether food is safe.

This tool does not calculate expiration dates or recommend storage times. Safety depends on factors the sheet does not know, such as preparation, temperature and storage conditions. When in doubt, follow official guidance and discard the food.

Questions before printing

Do I need to install ProntoBox?
No. The sheet works on its own. The app is an optional next step for people who want to add the food and receive phone reminders.
How do I save the sheet as a PDF?
Choose “Print or save as PDF”. In the browser window, select “Save as PDF” as the destination.
Where are my food names stored?
They remain in this browser. The local draft expires after 24 hours, and nothing from the form is sent to Cartae.
Can I use this for a meal prep business?
The tool is designed for household organization. It does not replace commercial labels, food safety information or legal requirements.
What label can go in a freezer?
Print the sheet and attach each cutout with tape or adhesive suited to the container, moisture and low temperature. Test the material first, since this tool does not supply or certify adhesive labels.
How should frozen food be labeled?
Identify the food name, preparation date and each container. The sheet also includes a review date, which is a reminder and not a safety or expiration statement.
